Library Program

FREE English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are available at our partner library location in Arapahoe County.

To get started, sign up for a time to come into one of our partner library locations to take a placement test. Based on the test, you will be registered in the class level that is best for you. The testing and registration process can take up to three hours. No childcare is available, so please make plans to attend without your children.

We offer six levels of ESL classes with a focus on the skills needed for living and working in an English-speaking society. Classes include practice with reading, speaking, listening and writing. The library also brings in guest speakers, gives tours and teaches students how to use the library - including how to access online and community resources as well as other helpful “how to” tutorials to help students navigate American culture.
