Family Literacy

For more than 40 years, The Learning Source has helped families build stronger futures together through Family Literacy programs. Offered at more than 15 locations across Colorado, our programs support parents and caregivers in developing their own literacy, language, and life skills while engaging in meaningful learning activities with their children.

The family literacy program is FREE for the parents and families of children attending elementary school at one of the 15 participating Aurora and Cherry Creek public schools.

Our Family Literacy programs use PACT Time (Parent and Child Together) to bring families together for learning, reading, and positive parent-child interaction. By strengthening parents as their children’s first teachers, we help build confidence, support children’s learning and development, and create a culture of literacy that extends from the classroom into the home.

This program is a partnership with Aurora and Cherry Creek Public Schools, serving more than 150 families in 15 locations.
